Bonne année ! Et quelques commentaires sur les livres que j'ai eu la flemme de commenter. J'espère que 2019 sera meilleure.

2. Caroline Preston : The War Bride's Scrapbook (l'effet de surprise est passé, mais des détails intéressants)
3. J. Courtney Sullivan : Saints for All Occasions
4. Lisa Ko : The Leavers
5. Arlie Russell Hochschild : Strangers in Their Own Land: Anger and Mourning on the American Right (vraiment pas mon genre de personnes, mais c'est beau d'avoir des convictions.)
6. Brit Bennett : The Mothers
7. Kalwant Bhopal : White Privilege: The Myth of a Post-Racial Society
8. Jenifer Lewis : The Mother of Black Hollywood: A Memoir (Jenifer est impayable.)
9. Ibi Zoboi : American Street (un peu facile, mais ça se laisse lire.)
10. Margot Lee Shetterly : Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race (intéressant)

12. Min Jin Lee : Pachinko (captivant mais ce parti pris : les personnages un peu "spéciaux" sont systématiquement japonais)

41. Eric Ripert : 32 Yolks: From My Mother's Table to Working the Line (je suis fan d'Eric Ripert. Ici, il parle de son enfance et de ses débuts en France, mais finalement, j'aurais préféré qu'il parle aussi des États-Unis.)

44. Hiromi Kawakami : Strange Weather in Tokyo (très japonais, très spécial, très délicat)

46. Beverly Daniel Tatum : Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?: And Other Conversations About Race (édition augmentée et à lire absolument)
47. Patrick Modiano : Dora Bruder
48. Craig Johnson : Depth of Winter
49. Sayaka Murata : Convenience Store Woman (très japonais, très spécial et il y a des claques qui se perdent)
50. Kim Thúy : Ru (il m'a manqué un petit quelque chose)
51. Gaël Faye : Petit pays
52. Olen Steinhauer : The Middleman
53. Joseph Zobel : La rue Cases-Nègres
54. Gisèle Pineau : Les voyages de Merry Sisal (difficile et grinçant)
55. Sharmila Sen : Not Quite Not White: Losing and Finding Race in America (exténuant, mais tellement vrai)
56. Amélie Nothomb : Les prénoms épicènes (très réussi)
57. Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah : Black Friday
58. Robert Galbraith : Lethal White (l'auteur a voulu faire un peu trop politique et on s'y perd parfois. Très bon quand même.)
59. Sujata Massey : Convenience Boy and Other Stories of Japan (charmant)

61. Sofia Lundberg : The Red Address Book

69. Michelle Obama : Becoming (j'ai trouvé qu'elle parlait un peu trop de Barack, mais quelle femme ! Mon idole !)

Très belle année à toi, je te la souhaite riche de plaisirs en tous genres ! Une liste très variée, dis donc... on se rejoint sur le Imbolo Mbue,j'ai trouvé qu'il manquait de profondeur. Je compte lire le Grann très bientôt, j'appréhende un peu, en raison du sujet...

Belle année 2019. Je te souhaite aussi qu'elle soit meilleure que 2018 et pas seulement côté lectures.

Beau bilan ! J'avais déjà retenu plusieurs titres mais ça ne m'a pas empêché d'en renoter d'autres (comme The Night Diary ou Barracoon...entre autres) !!
